John Pcolinski has been a member of GK&B since 1987 and focuses his practice in commercial and civil litigation, mediation, general business practice and appellate law. Mr. Pcolinski was an adjunct professor at North Central College in Naperville 1987 until 2012. John is an experienced civil litigator. He has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in business governance/dissolution, trade secret and non-competition matters, personal and business banking and real estate matters. His practice has included virtually all types of chancery cases including injunction practice. John also acts as a mediator/arbitrator of disputes of all types and has been a certified Arbitrator for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit since 1990. John has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Inc.—the highest available rating for legal ability, adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability, and diligence.
John is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. He was elected to the ISBA Assembly for multiple terms and has been General Counsel, Director, twice Editor in Chief of the DCBA Brief and committee chair• for numerous committees of the DuPage County Bar Association. John has also been a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness since 2006.
